Todays Canadian students, who are privileged in many ways, do not spend a lot of time persuasion about what leave officedom means for them or about Canadas extensive history of freedom fighting. The curative Agreement in September of 1988 finally recognized all Japanese Canadians rights to live in Canada and offered an official apology from the government. The operation of Redress is a prime example of a throng of people trying to gain the rights of all individuals in a democracy.
